Jazmine Sullivan - Holding You Down (video)

Jazmine is amazing. This is her new single, possibly. Or just a leak. Or a mixtape joint seeing as it borrows from Mary J. and Nas. Either way, the broad is the truth. Check it out.

Infinite Archetype on the 1's and 2's

This is an oldie but a goodie. The homie Iyae did this little blend back in 2006, so it's a tad old and his skills done stepped up since then but it's still freshhhhhhhhh.

Oh and it's my birthday today so buy me stuff.

Emilio Rojas - Recession Proof

This cat has gotta be one of my favourite MC's right now. Emilio Rojas aka Raks One, Rochester, New York representative, is part of the homie J. Master's Same Plate Management stable, and is most definitely one of the hottest up and coming MC's. His guest verses smash every time without fail, his Phaze One project with M-Phazes is highly anticipated and from the sneak peek we heard, it's off the chain, and to tide us all over, Emilio linked with Legend and DJ Noodles to bring us Recession Proof.

Here's the official blurb:

"Emilio Rojas drops his highly anticipated new mixtape “Recession Proof”, presented by DJ Noodles and Legend. After dropping a slew of singles, popping up on radio shows, a steady stream of live performances, and MTV video play, Emilio follows up with his first official mixtape, featuring appearances by Stat Quo, Fashawn, Donny Goines and more, while Illmind, M-Phazes, Khrysis and others check in on the production tip."

Basementality

So we've been dealing with a great CD pressing company over in Malaysia for our recent pressings (Polinta CD, check 'em out), and I found out this week that the homie K-Real who runs the CD place not only knows how to make your music into pretty packages, but he is an MC, producer, graphic artist, web designer and all round Hip Hop cat. Wow.

Check out Basementality, K-Real's Hip Hop website with features, news, downloads, mixtapes and portfolios. It's fresh as hell, get in while it's still young! And give dude a shout if you're after any graphic or web design work, dude is sick.

Drake's New Mixtape - So Far Gone

T.Dot representative Drake, has blessed our ears once again with a new mixtape "So Far Gone".

If you are a new comer to Drake, you MUST get this. That's all I'm sayin...

If you don't download it, you stupid.

A-Diction - Three Year Itch mixtape

That's right, the homies A-Diction (Boltz and Breach) are back with their latest mixtape, The Three Year Itch. These cats are quite possibly the nicest guys in Australian Hip Hop, and both are mad talented MC's.

This mixtape (which is up for FREE download - just click the cover images) is the prelude to their debut LP as a group, Walkin' Alone, which is set to drop later this year on Formula Recordz.

The Three Year Itch features production from some of Down Under's finest beatsmiths, including M-Phazes, Mules, Ciecmate, Doc Felix and others, and guest spots from Raven (Hungry Humans), Choose Mics, Syntax and more.

From my first brief listen, the fellas have brought the heat once again. I've always been a fan of their steez, and they definitely haven't disappointed here with world class production, while both MC's are constantly stepping up their skills every time I hear them. Get your download on, and stay tuned for their album as they have worked with certain members of The Movement Fam and shit is heatrocks...

Notion - Don't Rush Me leak!

That's right, folks, here is the first official leak from Notion's upcoming mixtape, 'On The Corner of Notion & 9th', a project centered on Notion's raps over 9th Wonder's beats.
