Drake & Trey Songz – Successful (Video)
I ain't even watched this yet. Hustlin'. Peep. Killin' it in the US though.
AIDS ad Grim Reaper [1987]
Bit of a throwback. The homies and I were discussing said commercial and I couldn't remember it. You might. Funny as shit though. Word to 'gays and intravenous drug users'. Oh and it was one year too early :)
Big L Documentary Trailer (First Draft) - "Street Struck: The Big L Story." COMING SOON!
Aight, so I caught this the other day...looks sick...up there with the Pun joint. Must be something in the air with tribute doco's right now. Excited.

KevinNottingham.com Presents…Beat It: A Musical Tribute to Michael Jackson [Mixed by DJ Grain]
That's what's up. The Movement Fam's own DJ Grain has put together his first solo mix...peep game...
"June 25, 2009 was a sad day for a lot of us. Michael Jackson had passed at the age of 50, just two months shy of his birthday. There were a ton of tributes going around for the King of Pop and everywhere you went, you heard Michael Jackson music playing in the street, in the clubs, or in the car next to you at the stop light.
To help ease the pain suffered from members here on the site, we held a beat contest. Producers came from everywhere to sample their favorite MJ song and to help pay tribute.
Today we celebrate the birth of Michael Jackson; he would have been 51. Out of the hundreds of beats that were submitted, we narrowed it down to the best 25. Then I let me man DJ Grain go to town, mix them and put his spin on it. Grab the mix after the cut. As a bonus, I’ve included a download of all the winning beats, unmixed."

Blu - No Sleep For A Day (EP)
...aaaaand we're back to the music. So everyone loves free shit, and free shit from Blu is even more of a bonus. Peep this lil joint. So there's no actual rapping on this, its just Blu messing with his new software as a producer. Interesting, anyway.

New World Order
Aight, time to take a break from all the entertainment and a get a lil serious on y'all. Peep this video. It gives a brilliant overview on the oppressive New World Order (NWO) that is imminently upon us. Keep an open mind when watching this video, although there is a lot of proof direct from the mouths of many world leaders (as you will see) as to what is really happening out there. Scary stuff.

The Foreign Exchange ft. Muhsinah – House of Cards (video)
The Foreign Exchange feat. Muhsinah - "House Of Cards" from The Foreign Exchange on Vimeo.
Dopeness. Anything Phonte touches is insane. Great video, great song. Cop the album if you haven't already!
Drake feat. Kanye West, Lil Wayne, & Eminem - Forever
So here's the early leak of 'Forever', the much hyped Drake joint featuring the heaviest of heavyweights - Yeezy, Weezy and Em. I been heard Drizzy using this beat and hook in the past so I'm surprised that this is the one, but it's heat. Each MC killed it in their own way, although Em murked it, as expected. Peep the audio above and DL the proper version below.

Ghostface Killah ft. Raheem DeVaughn - Baby
Big ups to Notion for putting me onto Raheem last year. Dude is amazing. So now Ra and Ghost linked for a beautiful, positive song dedicated to their pregnant wifey's. Love it. Video was a bit jumpy for me towards the end, should be sweet though. Love this song.

Slaughterhouse on Kube 93fm (Seattle)
Slaughterhouse on KUBE 93's Sound Session from DJ Hyphen on Vimeo.
Wooooord up. Big ups to the homies DJ Hyphen and J. Moore out in Seattle, WA, and their Sunday Night Sound Sessions show on Kube 93fm. Myself, Notion and Bekah done rolled through the studio last year in September during our US radio trip, and the boys been had the biggest names in Hip Hop on the show. None other than Slaughterhouse - Royce, Joell and Joe (Crooked was recording with a Seattle artist) - came through and gave a great interview. Check the video, and check out Hyph's blog for the audio and other details.
Sandpeople - Hate Aside
Oregon's Sandpeople are back with the first video off their new EP, 'Long Story, Short' entitled 'Hate Aside'. I love everything about this - the fresh beat, the damn near falsetto hook, Illmac's fucking amazing verse, even the video is hella dope. Don't sleep.
Asher Roth feat Keri Hilson - She Don't Want A Man video
Aight, so I'm a recent convert to Asher. I been had his shit since like last year but wasn't really feeling it until now. So I checked for this straight away, and honestly, that hook is garbage. Keri came weak as fuck, though the call and response part will get some love in the clubs, I'm sure.
The Greatest Amateur Rap Ever
Ridiculous. Creative as fuck. Some much needed freshness. See folks, rap in 2009 can be good.

Jay-Z feat Drake - Off That (prod. by Timbaland)
Well, well. This is one interesting ass track. Jigga be on some future shit right here, and getting Drake on this was oh-so-now. I fucks with it, though.
Leaks from 'Only Built 4 Cuban Linx II'
So I'm a lil behind on this one, but Rae BEEN leaking a few joints from the new album (dope cover by the way), and I thought it would be a heresy for me not to share it with the people:
Raekwon ft. Cappadonna & Ghostface - 10 Bricks (Prod. by J. Dilla)
Raekwon feat. Inspectah Deck, Ghostface Killah & Method Man - House of Flying Daggers (Dirty)
Wale live in D.C. - 'Dig Dug'
Wale Live at Love 8-22-09 from pleasedontstare.com on Vimeo.
This is some cool shit. Wale murkin' a club set in his home town over a joint I'm personally not familiar with, but apparently was one that set him off. Peep game.

KevinNottingham.com Presents The Blueprint Reconstructed
Ah man. Kev just don't quit. This competition was probably longer than The Movement Fam Remix Contest, so it's nice to see the final result. Peep the details:
With Jay-Z's Blueprint 3 set for release this year, it was only right that we pay tribute to the original 2001 classic in our latest remix contest. For 14 weeks, producers from around the globe showed up a KevinNottingham.com to take a stab at remixing The Blueprint. But this isn't just any old remix album. We stuck to the original formula by using the original samples that were used in Jay's 2001 classic. So each track, though different from the original, still has a familar feeling.
The purpose of this remixtape is not to try and outdo the original, but to pay tribute and give it a new light. The winning remixes are compiled here in The Blueprint Reconstructed and I firmly believe that this project is just as good as the original.
Enjoy.... I appreciate any support you can give this project.

Jessica does Jazz
Aight, so the homegirl Jessica Kaya (sister of the amazing Eternia) is a talented jazz singer (peep ∫'s 'The Soul Movement Volume 2' for the collab with Jess, 'Tomorrow (I'll Be Gone)'). The above video proves as much. Brilliant.

Digital Girl (Remix) Official Video - Jamie Foxx ft Drake, Kanye West & The Dream
On the new video tip, here's the 'Digital Girl' remix joint. The track itself is decent, video is a bit of a trip. I still don't really fuck with Foxx on the mic though. Seems too forced for me.
Jay-Z - Run This Town [Official Music Video] (ft. Rihanna & Kanye West)
Aight, so here's the official video to 'Run This Town' off 'The Blueprint 3'. About to check it now, heard good things...can't wait for this damn album.

Here's the video for Classified's new single, 'Up All Night'. DOPE studio. So pissed I missed when he came to MEL.
J. Period and K'Naan - The Messengers EP
Caught this over at Smoking Section. K'Naan has gotta be one of my favourite artists now; my man Dave out in Toronto BEEN telling me about dude but I fronted, til I heard 'Soobax'. Anyway, check the info below, dude did a free EP, peep...
"I could note how long I slept on K’Naan, his album Troubadour and the rest of his deep catalog. Then, I could speak on how he pretty much stole the entire show when I saw him at Rock The Bells as an opening act, amidst half of my favorite rappers. Following up by harping on how excited I got upon reading the details to the Somalian-turnt-Canuck’s new digital EP, The Messengers, and finding out he was not only doing an ode to one Bob Marley, but another as well.
Or, I could just cut the bullshit and say, here’s one extremely talented musician doing tributes to a few others.
Yea.
That sounds better."

Jay-Z - Blueprint 3 tracklisting
Aight, so we posted the prospective tracklisting from Jigga's 'The Blueprint 3' a couple weeks back, but here's the official joint. Dude BEEN up on the guests, which doesn't really seem that necessary being that we just wanna hear Jay. Seems that he is jumping on a fair few bandwagons here, the biggest being Drake. I've been bumpin' J.Cole's mixtape 'The Warm Up' recently so it's quite a surprise to see him on here, and Luke Steele from Empire of the Sun has gotta be the first Australian artist to collab with Hov. Lori Perry - Up against The Wind
This song kills me every time. Some of y'all might remember it from the scene in 'Set It Off' when Queen Latifah's character Cleo gets murked by the po-po. Bring your tissues, yo. I actually heard this on The Game interlude, and on that note, we 'bout to head to his show at Festival Hall...holla.

Jay-Z: Official Blueprint 3 Cover Art + Possible Tracklist
Jacked this from my man Kevin, yet again.
So here's the cover for Jay-Z's long awaited 'The Blueprint 3'. Interesting cover. I get the 'three lines' thing, very clever marketing, yet it seems to be missing the general Jay cover swag that the majority of his other albums have been bathed in.
Anyways, peep the possible tracklisting...looks like Kanye is running shit. 'Run This Town' is amazing, very excited to hear the style of production he went with this time around. Definitely fiendin' for this one.
